Benchmarking Energy Sustainable Targets (BEST) for Hotels

As part of the Mediterranean Green Project, MTF promoted the BEST project with the aim to allow for benchmarking of energy consumption key performance indicators across different levels of operations in a hotel.  The objective is create an on line platform which will allow for better management of energy consumption, the sharing of best practices in this field and a means for measurement for the authorities in order to link incentives to those hotels which are investing heavily in green initiatives.  The BEST platform  was developed and distributed amongst leading hotels in Malta in collaboration with the Malta Hotels and Restaurants Association.
